after reading this article about brazil and the razors video I feel like I have to throw in my own comments. As a rollerblader/filmmaker myself I think some of the quotes stated were highly over-exaggerated and completely false.. Everyone has a right to their own opinions of course, but to call yourself the best is a bit absurd. If you feel the need to call yourself the number one for some sort of ego boost than feel free, but no need to call out others…
on that note, I accept your calling and will do my best to make sure that when the 4life drops, game theory will be best served as a coaster

I have been skating for a while and seen many edits and I would have to agree with you. With the ease of buying video cameras and every computer coming with an edit creator type program seems like everyone feels the need to make an edit and post it these days. I know this has nothing to do with edits getting better but I would love for a video to come out on Blu-ray. Hyphy 4 on blu-ray could it ever happen???

ya he definitely does know more famous people, but the difference is that i don’t really care about how many famous people i know or care about promotion or networking if it isnt in the same blade community.. I just like to skate and make skate videos and thats it i guess.. In the end I’m just a blader like you and don’t really see myself above others. Maybe I’m an underachiever.. and like i said he’s still my homie, just felt like his statements were a bit over the top..I guess he will just have to live up to the hype.. well see how it goes.
Anyone who calls themselves the best at anything probably isn’t the best. That’s all I’m saying.
Ivan, I prefer your style much more over Brazil’s. Yours showcases the skating and the lifestyle, not the effects and tone changes.

The best representation of what rollerblading is like in my opinion is the Fade Nation series. Rollerbladers, rollerblading, living/loving life and having fun on blades. Subtle but great production. To me that is a good video.
