we take blading seriously, seriously

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

so I know its been a while since a legit post but I have good reason. I have been out on the field scouting new equipment and gathering enough funds to be able to rent this amazing new piece of gear that was recently released for complex cinema scenes. Introducing, yet again, the Iphone3Gs. Thats right, move over RED, 5DmII, BLUE and anything else that plans on coming out. Not only is this a high quality cinematic camera, but also allows for texting and the most popular app of all, Ifart
If you thought multitasking was reaching its outer limits of achievability, think again as we shatter the boundaries of capabilities that we once thought were possible.
Here we see the Iphone3Gs in its full flight recording some of the hottest action to date

ive had the pleasure of skating with soichiro the past month while filming for 4LIFE and to say im in impressed is an understatement. Although it is hard to communicate with him sometimes weve had a good month of postin up and definately blading. Soichiro says thankyou after everything even if its not something he should not be thankful for so sometimes ill throw in a couple random words when were talking because he usually always says yes
Soichiro, do you like girls that look like pandas?
yes, thankyou!

check out this interview
of the professor X of rollerblading.. He may not be bald and handicap yet but I figure everyone in rollerblading at some point will need a wheelchair earlier than the average man.

check the article here
“As far as my Edits go, such as the “Amazing” one at Chaz Sands and the Barcelona throw back dedication to “Aggressive In-Line”… I mean this in the most humble way, but they were the best contest edits ever made in skating, and I did them in a matter of hours. I am calling out all filmmakers/videographers in skating, STEP YOUR GAME UP. We are the ones representing our culture to the world. Skateboarding is a $4 Billion dollar a year industry, that’s our window of potential market share. We will not achieve it by dropping windows-movie-maker edits. That stuff is whack, my 11 year old sister is dropping movie-maker edits on youtube, that are fading some skating ones i see. Come on people, learn to color correct. Watch After Effects tutorials. Be a PRO. ”

after reading this article about brazil and the razors video I feel like I have to throw in my own comments. As a rollerblader/filmmaker myself I think some of the quotes stated were highly over-exaggerated and completely false.. Everyone has a right to their own opinions of course, but to call yourself the best is a bit absurd. If you feel the need to call yourself the number one for some sort of ego boost than feel free, but no need to call out others…

on that note, I accept your calling and will do my best to make sure that when the 4life drops, game theory will be best served as a coaster
